Warlock Builds, for 4.0.1 - 4.0.3a

\This area has warlock builds that are pre-cataclysm from between patches 4.0.1 - 4.0.3a. These are all level 80 talent builds. If you are looking for curent builds please check out Warlock Cataclysm Builds.

A lot has changed when 4.0.1 was released. The ammount of talent points people could spend was reduced by quite a bit, the talent trees were shortened, a lot of talents were removed and a few were added. The glyph system changed, allowing up to 3 more glyphs people could choose. Some new spells were released and so forth, 4.0.1 basicly was prepairing the world for the coming of the Cataclysm expansion.

Affliction Builds (4.0.1 - 4.0.3a)

1 - 31/0/5 (80) - 4.0.1 Shadow Bolt Spec - This the new best build afliction build for warlocks now that the 4.0.1 patch has come. For more information on this spec see elitistjerks.

2 - 31/0/5 (80) - Afliction Build With Soul Burn - Similar to the above build but this build has removed a point from Nightfall to take Soul Burn.

Stat priority: Hit (until 17%), Haste > Int >> Mastery = Spellpower > Crit

Spell Rotation Priority:

Corruption
- Haunt
- Unstable Affliction
- Bane of Agony(wait for it to drop off before reapplying)
- Shadow Embrace (IE: Shadow bolt if its not at 3 stacks)
- Drain Soul when mob is below 25% health.
- Shadow Bolt or Drain Life

At high haste levels (1400+) you can replace glyph of Life Tap

Demonology Builds (4.0.1 - 4.0.3a)

1 - 0/31/5 (80) - 4.0.1 Demonology Build

Stat priority: Hit (until 17%), Haste > Int >> Mastery = Spellpower > Crit

Spell Rotation Priority:

Metamorphosis

Immolate

Hand of Gul'dan

Bane of Doom

Corruption

Immolation Aura

Shadowflame

Incinerate (If molten core is up)

Soul Burn -> Soul Fire

Soul Fire (If Decimation is up)

Shadow Bolt

At high haste levels (1400+) you can replace glyph of Life Tap

Destruction Builds (4.0.1 - 4.0.3a)

1 - 2/3/31 (80) - 4.0.1 Raid Destruction Build

Stat Priority: Hit (Until 17%) >> Int >> Mastery = Haste = Spellpower >>> Crit

Spell Rotation Priority:

Improved Soul Fire (If target is above 80%, make sure this buff is up)

Immolate

Conflagrate

Bane of Doom

Shadowflame

Corruption

Chaos Bolt

Soul Burn -> Soul Fire

Soul Fire (If Empowered Imp has procced)

Incinerate

Notes:

At high haste levels (1400+) you can replace glyph of Life Tap

You should use /cast [@pettarget]Firebolt macros
