Warlock Builds For Mists of Pandaria (5.2)

WarlockBuilds.com is a site that lists different talent builds for warlocks for World of Warcraft. Many of these warlock builds come from forums, wowwiki or even myself. I hope you find the following builds useful.

If you wish to make any comments about any of the builds or submit any you wish to have added to the site please email admin@warlockbuilds.com. If you ware submitting a warlock talent build please use wowhead or mmo-champion's talent build program to make a link to your build and provide me a little bit of information about the build.

Mists of Pandaria has been released and with this expansion comes a lot of changes to changes to WOW. The most important changes that effect us is the change to the talent system. The old system has been replaced with a talent tier system. There are 6 talent tiers, each tier has 3 talents, one talent tier unlocks every 15 levels and you have the ability to pick one talent from each tier you have unlocked. Talent tiers are not unique to the specialization you have chosen.

Other changes in MoP:

-The glyph system has changed, there are no longer primary glyphs so you have only 3 major and 3 minor glyphs you can choose.

-Level cap increased to level 90

-New areas, dungeons and raids available.

-New battle pet system

-Funny fury bears running around the world.

-Chuck Norris class added to the game.

-AOE looting

Demonology Builds (updated for Mists of Pandaria 5.2)

Stat priority:

Int > Hit (until 15% or 5,100 rating) > Haste > Crit > Mastery

Spell Rotation Priority:

You have 2 phases as a Demonology Warlock the Demonic Fury Generation Phase and Spending the Demonic Fury Phase. Demonic Fury is your main resource you use when you transform into a demon.

Generation Phase:

Corruption - Cast and keep this up
Hand of Gul'dan - Use this when you are able and when Shadowflame is not on the target.
Soul Fire - Cast when Molten Core happens.
Shadow Bolt - Use as a filler.
When you hit ~900 Demonic Fury then Matamorphosis to your demon form. Try to use Matamorphosis just after refreshing Corruption and Hand of Gul'dan so you can stay in your demon form longer.

Using your Demonic Fury.
Doom - Keep this DoT up.
Touch of Chaos - If there is a ticket proc or stat increase due to someone casting heroism or something spam this till you run out of Demonic Fury, other wise cast a few times and deactivate Metamorph

*note most encounters you will want to start as a demon so you can apply doom, cast it and then switch forms so you can generate your fury.

You can tank if you have the Demon Hunting Glyph but remember when in your tanky demon stance use Provocation to taunt your target, use Fury Ward to absorb damage and your main attack will be Demonic Slash.

Remember Demonology Warlocks is all about managing your Demonic Fury and Mana/Health so it may take you a while to get a feel for it.
