Warlock Builds For Mists of Pandaria (5.2)
WarlockBuilds.com is a site that lists different talent builds for warlocks for World of Warcraft. Many of these warlock builds come from forums, wowwiki or even myself. I hope you find the following builds useful.
If you wish to make any comments about any of the builds or submit any you wish to have added to the site please email email@example.com. If you ware submitting a warlock talent build please use wowhead or mmo-champion's talent build program to make a link to your build and provide me a little bit of information about the build.
Mists of Pandaria has been released and with this expansion comes a lot of changes to changes to WOW. The most important changes that effect us is the change to the talent system. The old system has been replaced with a talent tier system. There are 6 talent tiers, each tier has 3 talents, one talent tier unlocks every 15 levels and you have the ability to pick one talent from each tier you have unlocked. Talent tiers are not unique to the specialization you have chosen.
Other changes in MoP:
-The glyph system has changed, there are no longer primary glyphs so you have only 3 major and 3 minor glyphs you can choose.
-Level cap increased to level 90
-New areas, dungeons and raids available.
-New battle pet system
-Funny fury bears running around the world.
-Chuck Norris class added to the game.
Patch 5.2 has been released, here are the changes that directly effect warlocks:
-Fel Armor now reduces damage taken by 10%, instead of increasing the Warlock’s armor.
-Blood Fear has been replaced by Blood Horror. Blood Horror costs 5% health, has 1 charge, and lasts 60 seconds with a 30-second cooldown. While Blood Horror is active, melee attacks that strike the Warlock will cause the attacker to be horrified for 4 seconds.
-The Imp ability Blood Pact has been removed.
-Dark Intent now increases Stamina in addition to Spell Power.
-Immolate now deals 20% more damage.
-Shadow Bolt now deals 15% more damage.
-Soul Leech now provides an absorption shield instead of healing.
-Burning Rush now also prevents movement-impairing effects from reducing the Warlock’s movement speed below 100% of normal, in addition to its other effects.
-Sacrificial Pact now requires the pet to sacrifice 25% of its health to activate (was 50%).
-Kil'jaeden's Cunning is now a passive talent, and its activated ability has been removed.
-The passive damage from Archimonde's Vengeance no longer has a visual effect.
-Grimoire of Sacrifice now increases the damage of abilities by 15% (was 25%) for Destruction Warlocks and 35% (was 50%) for Affliction Warlocks. In addition, it now provides the spell Whiplash instead of Seduction when a Succubus is sacrificed.
-Glyph of Burning Embers has been removed and its effects are now baseline for Destruction Warlocks.
-Glyph of Soul Shards has been removed and its effects are now baseline for Affliction Warlocks.
-Chaos Wave now has a new visual.
-Hand of Gul'dan now deals 15% more damage.
-Shadowflame now deals 15% more damage.
-Soul Fire now deals 22% more damage.
-Touch of Chaos now deals 15% more damage.
-Wild Imp's Firebolt now deals 15% more damage.
-Conflagrate now deals 20% more damage.
-Fire and Brimstone now has a radius of 10 yards (was 15 yards).
-Incinerate now deals 10% more damage.

Warlock Affliction Builds (updated for Mists of Pandaria 5.2)
Warlock Affliction Raiding Build(for single target fights) - This is the default raiding build for affliction warlocks.
Warlock Affliction Build(for AOE fights) - With full pandemic and full bane.
Spell Rotation Priority:
- Agony - Always keep DoT up on Mob.
- Corruption - Always keep DoT up on Mob.
- Unstable Affliction - Always keep DoT up on Mob.
- Haunt - Cast when you can and cast again when the debuff has fallen off of the mob.
- Malefic Grasp - Use as a filler when mob is above 20% health.
- Drain Soul - Use when mob is below 20% health.
- *DoTs can be refreshed with Soulburn / Soul Swap Icon Soul Swap
Int > Hit (until 15% or 5,100 rating) > Mastery > Haste > Crit
Demonology Builds (updated for Mists of Pandaria 5.2)
Both of the following builds are very similar. You basicly have the same build and have 2 points you can put into either: improved summoning, demonic aegis, improved health funnel or aura of foreboding, none of these will help your dps but they may help increase survivability a little.
Warlock Demonology Raid Single Target Build - This is has most of the talents you will usualy want for your raid but don't be afraid to change talents depending on what is needed in an encounter..
Int > Hit (until 15% or 5,100 rating) > Haste > Crit > Mastery
Spell Rotation Priority:
You have 2 phases as a Demonology Warlock the Demonic Fury Generation Phase and Spending the Demonic Fury Phase. Demonic Fury is your main resource you use when you transform into a demon.
Corruption - Cast and keep this up
Hand of Gul'dan - Use this when you are able and when Shadowflame is not on the target.
Soul Fire - Cast when Molten Core happens.
Shadow Bolt - Use as a filler.
When you hit ~900 Demonic Fury then Matamorphosis to your demon form. Try to use Matamorphosis just after refreshing Corruption and Hand of Gul'dan so you can stay in your demon form longer.
Using your Demonic Fury.
Doom - Keep this DoT up.
Touch of Chaos - If there is a ticket proc or stat increase due to someone casting heroism or something spam this till you run out of Demonic Fury, other wise cast a few times and deactivate Metamorph
*note most encounters you will want to start as a demon so you can apply doom, cast it and then switch forms so you can generate your fury.
You can tank if you have the Demon Hunting Glyph but remember when in your tanky demon stance use Provocation to taunt your target, use Fury Ward to absorb damage and your main attack will be Demonic Slash.
Remember Demonology Warlocks is all about managing your Demonic Fury and Mana/Health so it may take you a while to get a feel for it.
Warlock Destruction Builds (updated for Mists of Pandaria 5.2)
Raid Destruction Build - This is the best build for destruction warlocks as of MoP.
Spell Rotation Priority:
Chaos Bolt - When you have a full Burning Ember. Swtich to Shadowburn if mob is below 20% health.
Immolate - Keep this DoT on Target. Use Fel Flame to refresh Immolate if you have a high damage Immolate going. Each tic of this has a chance of generating part of a burning ember.
Incinerate - Use this to generate Embers.
Int > Hit (until 15% or 5,100 rating) > Mastery > Crit > Haste
